In light of this, I sense that Tantralink, with it’s spirit of establishing cooperation between varying Tantra Teachers around the country, is playing an important role in the countdown towards the end of one age and the birth of a new, more conscious and loving social structure based on Tantra principles.
My experience of coming to Tantra Link events in London has been extraordinary. On my first event I participated in structures in the morning led by Bernadette Valelly and structures in the afternoon led by Robert and Marta from Skydancing. The whole day flowed into deeper and deeper spaces of love, sensitivity and wellbeing, much appreciated by the whole group. My second experience was to be a participant in the morning, led by Deirdre Gough and Andy Saich. In the afternoon, I was teaching while the morning’s teachers participated. All of these teachers come from different backgrounds, and we all offer facets of Tantra based on our deeply lived experience. To bring all these facets together in the spirit of love and cooperation highlights the grandeur of the Tantra approach to life.
In my experience, students of Tantra are much like honeybees, moving from one flower to the next, from one teacher to the next in an effort to extract the nectar from each approach. I have noticed that this tendency creates a rich cross pollination of experience for the students. One day, some of these students will themselves become Tantra teachers, and it is marvellous to know that they will have a rich and varied Tantra experience to draw inspiration from.
Interestingly enough, this cross pollination also helps the teachers, not only to offer quality teachings but also economically. One may think that to share students will weaken one’s business as a Tantra teacher, but in fact, the more Tantra experiences are spread through the population and with word of mouth, the more Tantra becomes a ‘buzzword’, attracting even more bees to taste it’s divine nectar. In other words, the work expands exponentially, in leaps and bounds, bringing abundance to all.
Personally, I was very touched when Margot Anand, the founder of Skydancing Tantra, wrote a few lines of praise for the back of mine and Geho’s book Tantric Sex, even though we have never participated in any of her groups, and indeed have only met her a few times. I think this gesture speaks very highly of her understanding of Tantra as a rich and multidimensional path. I feel it is favourably auspicious that Kavida and Andrew, founders of Tantralink, are forward thinking enough to have created a multidimensional Tantra resource community in the heart of London and throughout the UK. If teachers of Tantra continue to link up through this site (www.tantralink.com) and through the events offered by the Tantra Club, I believe we will quickly be instrumental in helping Tantra in our Western World to evolve into a powerful and life transforming presence throughout our society.
It is exciting to sense that we are creating the destiny of tomorrow through our thoughts and actions of today. Through our loving exchanges as teachers in Tantra link events, we are truly creating a vast resource of insights and refined wisdom. This can only help in establishing a powerful foundation of Tantra which will permeate each and every aspect of our world. Perhaps we all dream of a better world. Is it not exciting to sense this better world being created each time we meet in the magic of Tantra, in ones, twos or in groups? What a powerfully uplifting and transforming force we are!
We have all the resources at our fingertips to surf this wave of love and consciousness into a new dawn of humanity.
With Love,
Mahasatvaa Ma Ananda Sarita Ph.D
