Ayurveda is the art of healthy living that enables you to create harmony in daily life, the word ayurveda is from the ancient indian language sanskrit and means literally “knowledge of life”. It originated over 5000 years ago and is a system of healing, both practical and spiritual. It is the science of how to align the body mind with the soul spirit.

The ayurvedic approach to life involves listening to and addressing the unique constitution of your body, recognizing and balancing your mental and emotional states and deepening your connection with your spirit your essential self. Ayurveda ‘yoga’ massage This treatment using ayurvedic principles is designed to activate the body’s own innate intelligence restoring harmony and health, helping to relax and rejuvenate, bringing the body mind back to its original nature. The massage is used to balance the three doshas, it improves circulation helping to bring more nutrition to the cells and remove metabolic wastes and toxins built up in the system. The massage involves the use of both hands and feet, lubricating and invigorating the skin and warming up the body. It also includes the use of a number of gentle stretches that are particularly beneficial for people practising yoga. This massage is given on the floor using a mattress and is extremely comfortable.
